Managing Your Connection Goals
Create, edit, pause, and track progress on goals across all social contexts from the Goals page.
The Goals page helps you create, view, and manage your connection goals across different social contexts.
Creating a New Goal:
- Click "Create Goal" on the Goals page
- Choose a social context (Professional, Romantic, Familial, etc.)
- Select goal type (Existing Connection or New Connection)
- For existing connections, specify the person's name
- Write a clear description of what you want to achieve
- Save your goal
Goal Status:
- ·Active: Goal is being worked on and information is being gathered
- ·Paused: Goal is temporarily on hold
- ·Completed: Goal has been achieved (cannot be modified)
Progress Tracking:
Each goal shows a completion percentage based on how much relevant information has been gathered. The AI surrogate uses this information to better understand your needs for that specific social context.
Information Items:
Each social context has specific information items that are most relevant:
- ·Professional: Goals, communication style, feedback preferences
- ·Romantic: Preferences, emotional needs, communication style
- ·Familial: Values, communication style, family history
- ·Friendly: Social preferences, hobbies, group dynamics
- ·Transactional: Business values, negotiation style, formality
- ·Reflective: Personal goals, self-awareness, growth areas
Tips for Effective Goal Setting:
- ·Be specific about what you want to achieve
- ·Choose the most relevant social context
- ·Consider both existing and new connection goals
- ·Review and update goals as your needs change
- ·Use the progress tracking to stay motivated
